I snapped these first two pics today, and the others are ones that I took during the last few weeks and never got around to posting.

Dylan is 2 months old today!

I snapped the following photos this morning while Dylan was still in a good mood. Our poor little man had his first round of shots this morning. But the good news is that the doctor said that he's doing great. He's a healthy, growing boy - 3 inches longer and almost 3 lbs heavier than when he was born.

Here's a pic of Dylan wrapped up in a big towel after his bath today, staring up at one of his favorite things to look at - the framed puzzle above his changing table. He's finally starting to enjoy his baths instead of just screaming through them, so they're a lot less stressful for me! And... Dylan's first cousin was born today! Lena Campbell is just a quarter of an inch shorter and 3 ounces less than Dylan. We can't wait for the two babies to meet. Congrats to Eric and Colleen!

I thought I'd share a pic of the face I've been seeing a lot of this week. He's smiling a lot too in between the cries, but I haven't had good enough timing to snap one of his big grins yet. Hopefully I'll get a good shot soon!

Play time

Who knew that watching your baby grasp a set of plastic keys or lift his head a few inches off the floor could be so exciting? But just about every day I find myself giving Dylan a little round of applause to congratulate his mini accomplishments. The last of these pics is a little blurry, but the angle is just right to see how strong our little man is getting.

Happy 1 month birthday, Dylan!

It's hard to believe that it's already been a month since our little boy entered the world. Each day we see him growing and changing in so many ways. By now, he's outgrown many of his newborn clothes, is holding his head up pretty well when we hold him upright, and is starting to make a few sounds other than crying (I think I may have heard a "goo" today). We can't wait to see what he's doing next month!
